Fiber Arts includes weaving and sewing and mixed-media projects which incorporate textiles. As in all classes, projects are designed to accommodate the youngest in the class but also to challenge the older participants to take their work further.

Studio Channel Islands accommodates 40 unique working artists on its campus. In this class, students will tour individual studios, watch demonstrations and receive guidance from different artists. We'll be working on projects inspired by the artists we meet.

In this course, students are introduced to the history of printmaking. We will be using and creating a variety of things to print with and will experiment printing on different materials.

Wild About Art was the original course introduced in 2014 and is still as popular as ever! Kids love learning about animals and nature and when they understand their subject better, artwork is more inspired and exciting. Each week, we'll learn about different creatures and create art using a wide variety of media and techniques.

This course combines art, culture, and history in a fun and inspiring way. Each week, we will examine the life and work of a renowned artist. Students will have be inspired by different art techniques while creating their own masterpieces!

Modeling and Sculpture
Modeling and Sculpture is not just about clay, although we do use a lot of it!
In this class, students work with a variety of materials to create 3D sculptures and forms, including paper mache, textiles and items from nature. Large collaborative projects are a main feature of this class.
